Eric Balchunas is Senior ETF Analyst for Bloomberg Intelligence where he writes for and leads the fund research team. He also helped create and appears on the first-ever ETF TV show called “Bloomberg ETF IQ” as well as a podcast called “Trillions.” He is also a Bloomberg Opinion contributor and author of “The Institutional ETF Toolbox,” which was published by Wiley in March 2016. Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Environmental Economics from Rutgers University.

Ivan Gilmore

Head of Securities Trading, London Stock Exchange, London Stock Exchange Group
Ivan was recently appointed Head of Securities Trading for London Stock Exchange, with primary responsibilities for Equities and Exchange Traded Products, alongside Fixed Income and Alternatives. He joined London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) in October 2017 as Head of Exchange Traded Products & Global Product Development for London Stock Exchange Plc.
Prior to joining LSEG, Ivan was at KCG, where he was Head of ETF Client Strategy & Distribution. Ivan has over 20 years’ experience in financial markets, including 7 years at Goldman Sachs as an Equity Trader and 8 years at DE Shaw LLP (London), where he was European Head of Trading for the US multi-strategy hedge fund.
Ivan has a Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L) from University College Dublin and a postgraduate Higher Diploma in Business Studies, also from U.C.D.

Jeffrey Gundlach

Mr. Gundlach is CEO of DoubleLine.  In 2011, he appeared on the cover of Barron’s as “The New Bond King.”  In 2013, Institutional Investor named him “Money Manager of the Year.”  In 2012, 2015 and 2016, he was named one of “The Fifty Most Influential” in Bloomberg Markets.  In 2017, he was inducted into the FIASI Fixed Income Hall of Fame.  Mr. Gundlach is a summa cum laude graduate of Dartmouth College, with degrees in Mathematics and Philosophy.

Melody He

Melody He is Managing Director and Head of Sales and Product Strategy at CSOP Asset Management Ltd. She oversees several initiatives including global sales, strategic product planning, as well as Wealth Management. Prior to joining CSOP, Melody was a former FICC sales with Goldman Sachs covering Greater China institutions. She graduated from University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s dual-degree in Economics and Psychology.

Matt Hougan

Chief Investment Officer, Bitwise Asset Management
Matt Hougan is one of the world’s leading experts on ETFs, fintech, and crypto and blockchain. He is Chief Investment Officer for Bitwise Asset Management, a pioneer in cryptoasset index funds with more than $1 billion in assets under management, and strategic advisor and/or board member for multiple fintech and ETF startups. 

Hougan was previously CEO of ETF.com and Inside ETFs, where he helped create the world’s first ETF data and analytics service and helped build the world’s largest ETF conference. He is co-author of both “A Comprehensive Guide to Exchange-Traded Funds” and “Cryptoassets: The Guide to Bitcoin, Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies for Professional Investors” for the CFA Institute Research Foundation. A columnist for Forbes, he is a three-time member of the Barron’s ETF Roundtable.

Christopher Johnson

Vice President, Head of ETF Capital Markets and Equity Trading Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.
Christopher Johnson is a Vice President and Head of ETF Capital Markets and Equity Trading supporting CSIM. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the Equity Trading Team as well as the implementation of all ETF capital market functions for CSIM, including managing relationships with authorized participants, market makers, stock exchanges and regulators.
Mr. Johnson has been in the financial services industry since 1998, with experience in ETF trading, sales, and product management. Before joining CSIM in 2017, he was director and the head of U.S. ETF distribution at RBC Capital Markets, LLC. Prior to that, he served as vice president and head of ETF sales for the Americas at Macquarie Capital (USA), Inc. He also served as the director of ETF sales and trading at Cantor Fitzgerald and senior manager in international ETF product management at The Vanguard Group.
Mr. Johnson earned a Bachelor of Arts in Asian studies-Japanese from Colgate University and a Graduate Business Certificate in finance from St. Joseph’s University. In addition, he completed American Society of Pension Actuaries Examinations C-1 and C-2 (DC). He holds Series 7 and 66 licenses.

Mark Louka

Executive Director, Systematic Trading, J.P. Morgan Asset Management
Mark Louka, Executive Director, is a trader in J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s Equity Group focusing on the Quantitative and Automated Trading effort. A JPM employee since 2014, Mark is also an adjunct professor at Fordham University, teaching a class on Algorithmic Trading and Market Structure for their Masters in Quantitative Finance Program. Based off of that experience, he designed and facilitated an eight week class offered to employees within J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
Mark came to J.P. Morgan from the US Portfolio & Electronic Trading Desk at RBC Capital Markets where he spent five years trading for a wide range of clients consisting of index funds, quantitative managers, and both state and private pensions. Prior to his time at RBC he spent eight years at The Vanguard Group where he traded a variety of equity and equity derivative products for both index funds and active quantitative strategies.

Dwayne Middleton

Global Head of Fixed Income Trading, T. Rowe Price
Dwayne Middleton is the global head of fixed income trading. Dwayne leads the trading team across foreign exchange, interest rate, IG and HY credit, emerging market, municipal, mortgage, and structured product asset classes. He is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc., and T. Rowe Price Group, Inc.
Dwayne’s investment experience began in 1994, and he has been with T. Rowe Price since 2019, beginning in Global Fixed Income Trading. Prior to this, Dwayne was employed by Morgan Stanley Investment Management as the global head of fixed income trading and as a senior investor on the global credit team. He has also held various roles with JPMorgan Asset Management, most notably as head of U.S. investment-grade credit leading portfolio construction, strategy implementation, sector allocation, and trading.
Dwayne earned a B.A. in economics from the University of Maryland. He also earned an M.B.A. from Northeastern University in Boston. Francis Geeseok Oh

Managing Director, Head of APAC Office, Qraft Technologies Asia Pacific Limited
Francis Geeseok Oh is Managing Director, Head of APAC office of Qraft Technologies, responsible for the global business development of its innovating ETF strategies powered by Qraft’s proprietary Artificial Intelligence technologies.
Geeseok has ten years of ETF business experience at ETF powerhouses such as Vanguard, Direxion, and Mirae Asset. At Vanguard, Geeseok Oh was Executive Director of Vanguard Investments Hong Kong Limited, responsible for its sales and business development in the Korean market. Before joining Vanguard, Geeseok has developed Direxion’s Asia business in Hong Kong, focusing on business development, capital markets, and product development for clients in the Asia Pacific. He worked at Mirae Asset Global Investments as ETF and quant portfolio manager in Hong Kong.
Geeseok holds a BBA from Korea University and an MBA from the University of Hong Kong. He is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charter, holder.

Kei Okazaki

Head of ETF Secondary Trading, Senior Manager of Strategic Planning Group, Equities Department Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc.
Kei Okazaki is designing trading rule of Cash Products listed on Tokyo Stock Exchange, responsible for ETF secondary trading and Market Making Scheme in order to improve liquidity. He earned a BA in Political Science from Waseda University in 2007. After joining Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2007, he served as part of derivatives department, Co-location service promotion office and Market Business Development and came to the current position in June 2013.

Ben Sturgeon

Director, ETF Product Manager, Tradeweb
Ben Sturgeon is a director at Tradeweb, responsible for developing and managing the firm’s exchange-traded funds (ETF) platform, and also managing the equity derivatives dealer-to-client platform in Europe.
Before joining Tradeweb in 2015, Ben was director of equity derivatives at Citigroup, in charge of the sales coverage of European clients specializing in US flow derivatives. Prior to that, he sold delta one and derivatives to hedge funds and institutional clients at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch, after starting his career in equities at GFI Group in London.
Ben holds a MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol.

Tom Taw

Director, Head of Investment Strategy and Product Consulting, APAC ETF Business, BlackRock
Tom Taw, Director, is the Head of Investment Strategy and Product Consulting for the APAC ETF business. He is primarily responsible for formulating and disseminating actionable market insights to EII APAC clients across asset classes using iShares ETFs, in conjunction with Blackrock’s Global Investment Institute. The Capital Markets team also works with a variety of market participants to facilitate client execution services and solutions as well as providing specialist knowledge to develop customized trading strategies to deliver those market insights and implement BLK’s investment strategies.
Prior to joining Blackrock in 2014, Mr. Taw worked in roles at Macquarie and Nomura in equity sales, trading and execution, covering clients across the hedge fund, asset management, and institutional client landscape; responsible for trading pan-Asian equities.
Mr. Taw holds a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Business from the University of Warwick.

Joseph M. Terranova

Senior Managing Director, Virtus Investment Partners
Joseph M. Terranova is a Senior Managing Director for Virtus Investment Partners, an asset management firm with $166 billion under management and listed on the Nasdaq exchange under the ticker symbol VRTS.
In his current role, Terranova is involved with Virtus’ investment oversight function and represents Virtus as a client-facing thought leader, providing insight into the domestic and global multi-asset investment landscape.
Terranova developed the Terranova US Quality Momentum Index (VTUSQM) which launched and began publicly pricing in August 2020. The index methodology, seeking to provide systematic exposure to domestic large-cap companies exhibiting both quality and momentum characteristics, reflects the investing principles in which Terranova has utilized to assess markets throughout his career.
Prior to joining Virtus Investment Partners in early 2008, Terranova spent 18 years at MBF Clearing Corp., rising to the position of Director of Trading for the company and its subsidiaries. His work was highlighted as the feature story in the June 2004 issue of Futures magazine.
Terranova is perhaps best known for his risk management skills, honed while overseeing MBF’s proprietary trading operations during some of the most calamitous times for the U.S. markets, including the first Gulf War, the 1998 Asian Crisis, 9/11, and the collapse of Amaranth Advisors. During those times there was never a loss at MBF due to market anomalies. In fact, the firm continued to trade profitably and grow its business.
With a strong commitment to charitable work, Terranova created the 501(c)(3) South Nassau Rock organization. He also established “Bossy’s Bunch,” a program that rewards excellence in the classroom for elementary students. In 2013, he established and financially sponsored “The Courier of Courage” with the New York Islanders, while also actively supporting the Islanders Children’s Foundation and Smile Train. 
Terranova graduated from the Peter J. Tobin College of Business at St. John’s University in 1988 with a B.S. in Finance. He is also a 1984 alumnus of Chaminade High School in Mineola, New York. 
In January 2012 he authored “Buy High, Sell Higher,” published by Grand Central Publishing, a division of Hachette Book Group.
Since 2008, Terranova has been a CNBC ensemble member, appearing regularly on the Halftime ReportSquawk Box and contributing financial content throughout the CNBC media and digital platforms.

Cameron Winklevoss

Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss co-founded Gemini, a cryptocurrency exchange and custodian, to empower the individual through crypto. Gemini is a New York Trust company that allows customers to buy, sell, store, and earn more than 30 cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin, bitcoin cash, ether, zcash, and litecoin. They graduated from Harvard University with degrees in Economics in 2004 and earned their MBAs from Oxford University in 2010. Together, they represented the United States at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China, placing 6th in the Men’s Pair event. Cameron and Tyler have been angel investors and entrepreneurs in emerging technologies since 2003. They began investing in bitcoin in 2012 and launched Gemini in 2015.

Tyler Winklevoss

Stephen Yeats

Stephen is a Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Fixed Income Beta Solutions. He is also UK Head of Investments. In his fixed income role, Stephen is responsible for over $400bn of fixed income assets, and a team of more than 40 investment professionals, working in seven locations globally. As UK Head of Investments Stephen has supervisory responsibility for investment staff in the UK, across a wide range of asset classes and investment styles.
Stephen is a member of SSGA’s Senior Leadership Team as well as the Investment, EMEA Risk and UK Senior Management Committees.
He graduated with a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering from Nottingham University and has also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He is a member of the UK Society of Investment Professionals and the CFA Institute.

Simon Barriball

ETF and Portfolio Trading, EMEA, Virtu Financial
Simon Barriball is responsible for ETF and Portfolio Trading in EMEA at Virtu Financial.  He has been with Virtu for 6 years having moved to ITG in 2014 to set up their ETF trading desk prior to the acquisition of ITG by Virtu Financial in 2019. Prior to Virtu he spent 19 years at Robert Fleming, Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse in a number of equity and ETF roles.

Douglas Cifu

Chief Executive Officer, Virtu Financial
Douglas Cifu is the Chief Executive Officer of Virtu Financial and was a co-founder of Virtu in 2008. Previously, he was a partner at the international law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison. At Paul Weiss, Mr. Cifu served as a member of the Management Committee, Deputy Chair of the Corporate Department and co-head of the Private Equity Group.
He is recognized in Chambers USA and Legal 500 as a leading mergers and acquisitions lawyer for buyouts and private equity transactions. In 2006, Private Equity International listed him among the 30 most influential lawyers currently working in global private equity, citing his expertise in technology-driven sectors. He has been recognized by Crain’s New York Business in its “Technology 100,” a listing of the top 100 people working in technology in the New York area.
He serves on the board of directors of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the board of visitors of Columbia College at Columbia University.
Mr. Cifu earned his J.D. at Columbia Law School in 1990 and his B.A. magna cum laude from Columbia University in 1987.

Ellyn Coyne

Head of US ETF Sales, Virtu Financial
Ellyn Coyne is responsible for sales and business development for the US ETF Block Desk at Virtu.  Ellyn’s been with Virtu for 7+ years (prior to Virtu acquisition of KCG, July 2017). 
Ellyn joined KCG in January 2014 as a member of the ETF Sales Team. Responsibilities include new client development, client retention, and revenue growth.  Over the past 7 years, Virtu’s ETF Block desk has become of the industry leaders in execution, LMM and education. 
Prior to joining KCG, Ellyn worked at the NASDAQ, where she was a Managing Director of Transaction Services. She also worked at the NYSE where she was Director of Trading on the Arca trade desk.

JD Del Raso

Execution Services, US, Virtu Financial
Based in New York City, JD Del Raso is on the US Virtu Execution Services team and helps oversee the firm’s electronic agency trading. Virtu uses advanced technology and transparency to deliver liquidity to global capital markets and helps clients pursue best execution via a suite of deterministic, intention-based algorithms driven by real-time data.
JD has been with Virtu for 12 years and was previously an FX and energy trader.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University.

Matthew Fasman

Global Head of ETF Trading, Virtu Financial
Matthew Fasman is Global Head of ETF Trading at Virtu Financial and has served in this role since 2019. He is also a member of the firm’s management committee and global risk committee and has served on those committees since 2013. He has been with Virtu and its predecessor firms since 2008. He has been a market maker in ETF’s since 2009. During his career at Virtu Matthew has served in a number of trading leadership roles, including Head of Commodities Trading and Head Trader, New York Office. He graduated from Harvard College in 2008.

Ryan Fazackerly

Portfolio Trading, EMEA, Virtu Financial
Based in London, Ryan Fazackerley is a Portfolio Trader at Virtu Financial. He has been with Virtu for eight years, six of which spent on the Portfolio Trading desk. Previously he served in the Fix and Algo teams with both ITG and Fidessa.

Brian Gilman

ETF Liquidity Sales, Virtu Financial
Brian Gilman has 14 years of financial services experience and 10 years in ETFs. After earning his J.D. from Boston University and passing the NY State Bar Exam, Brian practiced labor law before transitioning to a career in financial services and joining the fixed-income desk at SIG. Brian’s entry into the ETF space began with a trading role at Labranche Structured Products in 2009. Over the past 10 years, Brian has served both proprietary and sell-side ETF trading roles and is adept in risk-pricing and on-screen market making functions. In his current role of ETF Liquidity Sales at Virtu Financial, Brian focuses on product listings and lead market making for ETF issuers, as well as best-execution consultation for ETF users throughout the trading ecosystem.
Brian holds a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and a J.D. from Boston University.

Stephen Kay

Mr. Kay leads Virtu’s global broker dealer client relationship management and sales efforts and oversees sales for the firm’s electronic services. Virtu uses advanced technology and transparency to deliver liquidity to the global capital markets and help clients pursue best execution in a scalable, efficient and data-driven manner.
Partnering with broker dealers of all sizes across the globe, Mr. Kay and team seek to customize Virtu’s award-winning products and services to fit their client’s wide-ranging needs. Stephen offers an extensive background in multi-asset class execution, global market structure, execution management systems, algorithmic trading technology, smart-routing, trade analytics and the other global trading solutions Virtu offers.
Mr. Kay joined Knight Capital (also known as KCG Holdings, Inc.) in 2005 before it was acquired by Virtu Financial in 2017. He has over 20 years of experience in the wholesale equity market making segment and prior experience includes roles at equity market-making and NYSE specialist firms, as well as five years as an active trader.
Mr. Kay holds an MBA from New York University and a BSc from Washington University, St. Louis. He served as President of the Security Traders Association of New York in 2007 and 2011.

Jessica Morrison

CEO and Head of Execution Services APAC, Virtu Financial
In June 2020, Jessica joined global financial technology firm, Virtu Financial APAC, currently under transition following the 2019 acquisition of ITG.  Virtu uses advanced technology and transparency to deliver liquidity to the global capital markets and help clients pursue best execution in a scalable, efficient and data-driven manner.
Jessica offers an extensive background in APAC market structure, having moved to Hong Kong in 2011. She is an active participant in several industry initiatives around the development of the A Share Market Structure in China through Hong Kong Stock Connect, IOI and FIX protocols, and Electronic Trading guidelines. While running Virtu’s APAC Execution Services team on a day-to-day basis, Jessica continues to track developments and publish market structure content with regards to both macro market structure—regulation, technology and explicit costs—and their impact on the micro structure—liquidity indicators such as volume, volatility and implicit costs in the region.
Prior to Virtu, Jessica held the position of Head of Execution Services Sales for Asia at the Institutional Equities Division of Morgan Stanley from 2020-2017, having originally worked in their London Compliance team from 2009-2006. Between those dates, Jessica worked for Deutsche Bank initially in an Equities Compliance role before transitioning to and establishing the APAC Market Structure and Commission Management team in Hong Kong in 2011.
Jessica holds a MA in Law from the University of Cambridge.

Tara Muller

Head of Off Exchange Liquidity, Virtu Financial
Tara Muller is responsible for Virtu’s off-exchange liquidity offerings, including the firm’s Single Dealer Platforms – VEQ Link (formerly Acknowledge Equities and Knight Link) and VEQ. She served in a similar capacity at KCG Holdings before Virtu acquired the firm in July 2017. Tara’s responsibilities include new business strategy, product development and account management. Tara serves on the firm’s Management Committee, Best Execution Committee and Retail Order Routing Committee. Additionally, Tara is part of Virtu’s inaugural Diversity and Inclusion Program, heading up our External Mentor Committee.
Tara joined Knight Capital in 2006 to build the Knight Link business and was a Managing Director in Knight’s Electronic Trading Group. Over the last 14 years, Virtu has become one of the largest providers of off-exchange liquidity in the U.S. equities market and is an essential source of liquidity for the street’s smart order routers and ATSs.
Prior to joining Knight, Tara spent more than 10 years at Reuters America where she was responsible for sales of Reuters desktop products, fundamental and estimate content, and real-time data feeds.
Tara passionately raises money to support St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and is Co-Chair of Wall Street’s Taste of New York event to benefit the Hospital.

Sean O’Meara

Global ETF Sales and Trading, Virtu Financial
Based in New York City, Sean O’Meara shares his expertise on the Global ETF Sales and Trading team and oversees best execution consultation of ETF trading for institutional buy and sell side clients. Sean joined ITG four years ago, prior to the firm’s acquisition by Virtu Financial in 2019. Before that, Sean was the Executive Director of US ETF Sales and Trading at JP Morgan for almost 10 years, and an associate at Morgan Stanley where he started his career in sales and trading out of college. 
Sean holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Jason Perle

US Algorithmic Trading Desk, Virtu Financial
Based in New Jersey, Jason Perle sits on the US Algorithmic Trading Desk. Virtu uses advanced technology and transparency to deliver liquidity to global capital markets and helps clients pursue best execution via a suite of deterministic, intention-based algorithms driven by real-time data.
Jason’s day to day responsibilities include client research and consultation, algo product development and connecting clients with liquidity. He is also highly involved in Virtu’s campus recruiting and intern programs. Prior to its 2017 acquisition by Virtu Financial, Jason worked at Knight Capital, where he spent 15+ years in a high touch position trading biotech and international.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Virginia.

John Shay

Senior Advisor to the CEO, Virtu Financial
Since 2007, Shay has been part of the Virtu family of businesses. He along with Virtu Founder Vin Viola, created the market’s first OTC Interest Rate Clearing DCO called IDCG. That business was sold to LCH in 2012 and included NDAQ as its majority shareholder.
From 2012 to 2016 Shay served as Senior Vice President for Global Markets at Virtu Financial, where he was responsible for managing outside venue, vendor and trading relationships, focused on fixed income, commodities, and currencies.  He currently advises the CEO on all matters FICC related.
He was formerly a member of the Treasury Borrowing Advisory Committee (TBAC 2014 – 2016), TMPG, FXPA and a Main Board member of LCH group.
In 2016, John Shay joined Nasdaq as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Fixed Income and Commodities . In this role, Shay was responsible for leading the global commodities and fixed-income areas within Nasdaq’s Global Trading and Market Services business. This included U.S. Treasuries, global commodities, and in the Nordic and Baltic markets, he was responsible for fixed income, clearing, and broker services activities.
Shay also founded and served as Managing Partner at Capital Market Services Inc., a wholly-owned clearing and execution services business designed to improve market access for algorithmic strategy hedge funds in the over-the-counter and exchange traded space.
In 1982 Shay began his 25 year career at ICAP, where he served as Executive Vice President and Global Head of Sales for ICAP Electronic Broking (IEB) for Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange from 2003 to 2007. Prior to 2003, he helped develop strategic partnerships in China, Hong Kong, Japan, South America and the European Union, and was instrumental in growing the company’s market share in U.S. Treasuries, Mortgage Backed Products, and Repo.
Shay earned an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, Columbia University and a B.B.A. from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business graduating magna cum laude.

Erin Stanton

Global Head of Analytics Client Support, Virtu Financial
Erin Stanton has 12+ years of experience in big data and data science and she currently runs the Global Client Support organization for Virtu Analytics.  Erin is known for her big energy which she brings to everything she does and has been more recently championing potential machine learning and AI techniques to answer client questions.
Erin is also the co-head of Virtu’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee where she is personally dedicated to expanding women’s roles within technology and data science.
Erin received her undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Economics from Lehigh University and is expected to graduate with a Masters in Information and Data Science from UC Berkeley in May 2021.

Denys Teslenko

Head of ETFs, APAC, Virtu Financial
Denys Teslenko is responsible for Virtu’s ETF business in APAC, charged with building out S&T desk specializing in risk, market making, and agency execution for Japan, Honk Kong, and US listed ETFs. Denys started his career at Knight Capital(KCG) in 2012before acquisition by Virtu Financial 2017, focusing on US Equity block market making and portfolio trading.
Denys holds a B.A. in Economics from Rutgers University

Patrick Thomson

Global Fixed Income ETF Trading, Virtu Financial
Patrick K. Thomson works on Virtu’s expansive ETF desk and focuses on Fixed Income ETF’s and bonds.  Patrick’s responsibilities include block market making and transition trades in ETF’s, working with issuers on developing new and managing existing ETFs, while trading an ETF’s for a firm that see’s 20% of retail ETF volume in the United States. Over the last 7 years, Patrick and Rich Mauro have built a Fixed Income ETP franchise, providing transparent trading solutions for clients with an emphasis on total cost of execution.  Patrick is now in Europe helping expand the businesses there. 
Known for its global scale, competitive liquidity, and transparent execution service, Virtu’s disclosed and customized offerings are built on the quality of its liquidity and accountability to the relationship.  Over the past decade, Virtu has become one of the largest global liquidity providers in equities, ETPs, foreign exchange, fixed income, and commodities such as energy, metals, and softs.
Patrick started his career in ETP’s at their “birthplace” on American Stock Exchange in 2000. Over the next 11 years at Goldman Sachs, Patrick participated in the rapid expansion of ETP’s as a trader on both the AMEX and NYSE. During that time, his initial focus on domestic and international equities shifted to the fixed income and commodity space as his role evolved from low-latency, principal trading to client facilitation.

RJ Weiss

Product Specialist, Workflow Technology, Virtu Financial
RJ Weiss is a product specialist on the Workflow Technology team at Virtu Financial.  He joined ITG in 2015 prior to the firm’s acquisition by Virtu in 2017. Previously, he spent several years at Eze Castle Software.  RJ earned his degree in Geography & Geographical Information Systems from Middlebury College.

Ian Williams

CEO and Head of Execution Services Canada, Virtu Financial
Ian Williams is the CEO and Head of Execution Services in Canada at Virtu Financial which he joined 13 years ago. Previously, he was president of Perimeter Markets Inc., which operated institutional and retail alternative marketplaces that provided electronic equity and fixed income trading services in Canada. Earlier, he worked in portfolio management, trading and risk management at TD Asset Management, Toronto-Dominion Bank and TD Securities. He holds a B.A. in economics from York University, Toronto, and is a chartered financial analyst.
